Symphonies Restaurant - If you eat in, they have very yummy looking desserts, including chocolate mousse

Lupitas - "authentic" Mexican, not necessarily authentically cheep
The Lucky Platter - funky decor, good breakfast, not sure about other foods, they do take out, but eat in at least once for the atmosphere

Dengeos - (847) 677-7911 Ostensibly Greek, but with LOTS of options. Its kind of our "House" restaurant, you can get a free balloon when you go! Not expensive and kid friendly.
Buffalo Joe's - (847) 864 5400 -Wings
Malnati's Pizza - (847) 328-5400- GREAT deep dish pizza, don't get delivery, unless you're desperate, because it take a LONG time for them to get there, just go get it yourself.

Cross Rhodes - Greek food. Baklava was good, but the tzatziki was overly seasoned, and they drenched our food in it, ask for it on the side.

Heckys Barbeque - (847) 492-1182 - good, cheep ribs, never had anything else there. Apparently Obama likes it there (or at least has been there, which is kind of like those signs all over the east coast saying "Washington slept here"...)
